NIRS31-UMB Road Condition Sensor

The NIRS31-UMB uses near-infrared spectroscopy to determine road surface conditions without any physical contact with the road. Mounted above the road surface, it classifies surface state with high accuracy — detecting dry, moist, wet, icy, snowy and frost conditions in real time, making it ideal for fixed RWIS deployments on highways and bridges.
